Start with your own squad

Open Good Pick in Planner and choose one player or a pair from your draft. Demon compares keeping them with affordable alternatives for your selected gameweek window. Your bank and selling values matter, so check those first.

A better combo does not always mean two transfers

A pair shares a budget. Spending less on a defender might help you upgrade a forward, but sometimes keeping the defender is the better move. A row marked Keep means that player stays. You do not need to replace both.

Look at the gain, the cost and the fixtures

• Compare your players with the replacement over the same one, three or five gameweeks, where available.
• Read the projected difference after extra transfer hits. More points before a hit can still mean fewer points after it.
• Check the remaining bank and upcoming opponents. A move should fit your next decision too.
• Use historical stats to understand each player. A past run of strong performances is useful context, not a promised return.

Sometimes the move is to hold your nerve

BUY means the comparison favours a worthwhile projected improvement. ROLL means the case for spending a transfer is weaker. You may still see an alternative with a small positive gain: being slightly ahead does not automatically make it worth a move.

Good Pick answers a focused player question. Use Solver when captaincy, your starting XI and transfers across several weeks need to work together.

Choose Try in my draft to review the move in Planner. Check your lineup, captain and future weeks. This changes your Demon draft; you still make any real transfers on the official FPL site.

A saved check reflects the team and information used when you ran it. If either changes, run a fresh comparison before relying on the old advice.
