Question 1

Where do the goals and clean-sheet projections come from?

Accepted Answer

Near-term projections are based on bookmaker markets from BetMGM, BetRivers, BetOnline.ag, BetUS, Bovada, LowVig.ag and MyBookie.ag. Demon combines the available markets to estimate team goals and clean-sheet chances. Weeks further ahead are model estimates using team strength, the opponent and home or away advantage, informed by those markets.

Question 2

How should I use the projections?

Accepted Answer

Projected goals estimate how many goals a team will score. Clean-sheet chance is the probability of conceding none. Use them to compare attacking and defensive fixtures. Longer-range estimates are less certain and update as new data arrives. Both views are included with Demon Pro.

Question 3

What does FDR mean?

Accepted Answer

FDR means Fixture Difficulty Rating. A lower number is an easier fixture and a higher number is tougher. Use it as a quick guide, not a promise that a team will score or keep a clean sheet.

Question 4

Should I use Overall, Attack or Defence?

Accepted Answer

Use Overall for the full matchup, Attack when comparing attackers or captains, and Defence when choosing goalkeepers or defenders. For example, a good attacking run can still belong to a team whose defensive fixtures are poor.

Question 5

How do I find the best fixture run?

Accepted Answer

Choose your Gameweek horizon, select Overall, Attack or Defence, then sort by Easiest. Demon will name the leading club and show its average FDR across that exact run.

Question 6

How does rotation work?

Accepted Answer

Pick one club in Rotation. Demon then ranks partners whose easier fixtures cover that club's tougher weeks. This is useful when rotating budget goalkeepers or defenders rather than starting the same player every week.

Question 7

What is the rotation score?

Accepted Answer

A higher score means the two clubs cover each other's difficult weeks more often. Use it to find a goalkeeper or defender to start when your other option has a tough fixture. It measures fixture coverage, not projected points.

Question 8

Does the ticker update automatically?

Accepted Answer

The fixture release refreshes automatically when Demon publishes new FPL data. The page then moves its rolling horizon forward without you choosing hardcoded Gameweeks.

Question 9

What should I do after finding an easy run?

Accepted Answer

Open Planner to map out your transfers, check your budget and compare drafts across the next five Gameweeks. Good Pick helps you compare players and combos for your squad.

Question 10

Can fixture changes affect the ticker?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Postponements, rearranged matches, blanks and double Gameweeks can change a team's run. Demon uses the latest published fixture release, so check again before the deadline.
