Question 1

What am I looking at?

Accepted Answer

Each box is how many FPL points Demon expects that player to score in that Gameweek. Total adds the selected Gameweeks together. For example, a player with 6.0, 4.0 and 5.0 has 15.0 xPts across that run.

Question 2

What does xPts mean?

Accepted Answer

xPts means expected points. It is an estimate, not a promise: a player on 7.0 xPts can still blank, but over time the stronger numbers help you compare captain picks and transfers without guessing from fixture colour alone.

Question 3

How often does the table update?

Accepted Answer

Demon checks for fresh FPL data every 30 minutes. After a match finishes, updated minutes and player data may take a short while to appear while FPL confirms the latest numbers.

Question 4

What does xMins mean, and how do I change it?

Accepted Answer

xMins is Demon's estimate of playing time. If you hear that a player will be benched, lower their minutes. If you expect a start, raise them. Demon recalculates their xPts and can use your edited number when judging transfer paths in Solver.

Question 5

Why should I open a player?

Accepted Answer

Open a player to check where the projection comes from and whether the minutes look right. A defender might score well because of clean-sheet and DefCon chances; a forward might rely on goals. That context helps you spot a number you disagree with.

Question 6

Do my xMins edits affect Planner and Solver?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The same projections power your Planner and Solver decisions. If you change a player's minutes before solving, Demon can judge routes using your view instead of pretending the player will get the default minutes.

Question 7

How do I find a transfer or captain?

Accepted Answer

For a captain, sort the next Gameweek and check the top players. For a transfer, select the Gameweeks you care about and sort by Total. Then filter by position, club or price and compare the realistic options for your squad.

Question 8

Why does changing the Gameweeks change the order?

Accepted Answer

A one-week punt and a five-week hold are different decisions. Sorting GW3 may favour the best immediate fixture; sorting Total may favour a player with a steadier run. Pick the horizon that matches how long you expect to keep them.
