UCL Fantasy MD3: 5 Differentials Nobody Owns

Olise is suspended, Nuno Mendes is out for weeks and Liverpool are missing two midfielders. Everyone's going to make the same moves. Don't.

Five players owned by 8% or less, who could move you up your league.

1. Bradley Barcola (Liverpool, €7.0m)

Bradley Barcola

Villarreal (H), Tuesday 20 October. 8% owned.

A hat-trick against LASK on Matchday 2, and he's the most-bought player of the week. Over 37,000 managers have brought him in, but only 8% own him. Get in before it's 20%.

At Brentford on Saturday he had the highest expected goals on the pitch, hit the bar and still came away with an assist. With Szoboszlai and Frimpong out or doubtful, Liverpool need his goals even more.

Liverpool have won 15 of their last 16 Champions League group or league phase home games. Villarreal have conceded first in each of their last seven away games in the competition.

Demon's Verdict: The one everyone's talking about, and still a differential. Buy.

2. Nicolas Jackson (Aston Villa, FWD, €7.0m)

Nicolas Jackson

Viking (H), Wednesday 21 October. 2% owned.

Three Champions League goals and 18 points in just 160 minutes. Villa have scored nine goals in two games and won their last 11 European home games. Viking have conceded three in each of their two games.

He blanked at Newcastle on Saturday, but he was busy. Manzambi is a doubt with a calf problem, which only makes Jackson more important.

Demon's Verdict: The best fixture of the week, and nobody has him. Buy.

3. Nicolò Tresoldi (Club Brugge, FWD, €7.0m)

Nicolò Tresoldi

Lens (H), Wednesday 21 October. 2% owned.

Four goals and 23 points in 173 minutes. Brugge have scored 31 goals in their last six Champions League games, and Lens haven't kept a clean sheet in their last 15.

Demon's Verdict: The form striker almost nobody has noticed. Buy.

4. Victor Osimhen (Galatasaray, FWD, €8.0m)

Victor Osimhen

Lille (A), Wednesday 21 October. 4% owned.

Seven goals in his last ten Champions League games, plus 6 goals and 3 assists in his first five league games. Lille have lost both of their games, conceding three each time, and haven't kept a clean sheet in their last ten Champions League games.

Demon's Verdict: Away from home, but this Lille defence is a gift. A big-name punt.

5. Sergi Altimira (Sporting CP, DEF, €4.0m)

Sergi Altimira

LASK (H), Wednesday 21 October. 2% owned.

Listed as a defender, playing in midfield. That means clean-sheet points with a midfielder's chances of getting forward, for the cheapest price in the game. Sporting have won both games and kept a clean sheet in France last time. LASK have lost nine European away games in a row.

Demon's Verdict: The bargain of the week. Buy.

Demon's Final Word

  • The one everyone's buying: Barcola.
  • Best fixture: Jackson.
  • Form pick: Tresoldi.
  • Big-name punt: Osimhen.
  • Cheap points at the back: Altimira.
