The Demon FPL Fixture Ticker has a Defence view and a projected clean-sheet percentage. Use both together. Defence FDR tells you how friendly the fixture looks. Clean-sheet percentage tells you how much trust to put in it.
How To Find Clean-Sheet Fixtures
- Open the ticker.
- Switch the metric to Defence.
- Set the range to the next 5 or next 8 gameweeks.
- Turn on Projected Clean Sheets.
- Sort by easiest.
The best defensive runs are the ones where the colours and the percentages agree. If the fixture is green but the clean-sheet percentage is weak, it may be better for attackers than defenders.
Premium Defender Or Cheap Defender?
Premium defenders can survive average fixtures because they often bring attacking threat, bonus and minutes. Cheap defenders usually need the fixture to do more of the work.
| Player type | What you need | Warning sign |
|---|---|---|
| Premium defender | Clean sheets, attacking threat, starts | Expensive player with no attacking route |
| Cheap defender | Good fixtures, starts, rotation value | Low minutes or no clean-sheet chance |
| Goalkeeper | Clean-sheet run, saves, fixture rotation | Two keepers with the same bad fixture blocks |
Use Rotation For Budget Defenders
Two cheap defenders do not both need great fixtures every week. You just need one of them to be playable. Use rotation mode to find pairs that cover each other's hard fixtures.
Demon Verdict
Do not buy defenders just because the overall ticker is green. Switch to Defence, check clean-sheet percentage, then ask whether the player is nailed enough to benefit. That is how you avoid pretty fixtures that return two points.
