Best FPL Attacking Fixtures: How To Find Goals And Captain Upside

12 July 2026

Attacking fixtures are where FPL gets fun. Goals, assists and captaincy hauls usually start with teams that have space to score. The Demon ticker helps you find those runs before everyone else starts chasing.

The important thing is to use the Attack view. Overall fixture difficulty is useful, but attackers need a more specific read: how likely is this team to score?

How To Find The Best Attacking Runs

  1. Open the Demon FPL Fixture Ticker.
  2. Change the metric to Attack.
  3. Use the next 5 gameweeks for transfers or next 8 for wildcard drafts.
  4. Turn on Projected Goals.
  5. Sort by easiest attacking run.

If a team has a low attacking FDR and strong projected goals, their forwards and midfielders deserve attention. If the FDR is green but projected goals are modest, the fixture may be good but not explosive.

Captaincy Angle

For captaincy, look for a strong player in a strong attacking fixture. A premium player with penalties, high minutes and a high projected-goals team is usually a better captain than a cheap punt in a similar fixture colour.

Demon Verdict

Attack mode is the one for goals. Use it when comparing forwards, midfielders and captaincy routes. A green attacking fixture does not mean automatic buy, but it tells you where to start digging.
