Demon Notes
- Demon had Haaland up as the main Norway route, and that call hit. He did not need a huge haul; he needed the decisive return.
- Nusa is the best new name from the tie. A midfield goal and 10 points makes him a real differential watch.
- Norway conceded again, so the defensive case is not strong. This is especially true now that Brazil are next.
- Cote d'Ivoire gave managers a Pepe/Amad return, but the tournament route is over. Do not chase points from eliminated players.
- Brazil v Norway is now a very different R16 match from a fantasy point of view. Haaland raises the risk on Brazil clean-sheet picks.
R16 Fantasy Angle
Norway now face Brazil, which keeps Haaland alive but makes the rest of the squad harder to trust. If you buy Norway, you are mostly buying Haaland's goal threat rather than a comfortable team route.
Nusa is the fun differential, but he is not in the same safety bracket as Haaland. Odegaard is always capable of assists, though fantasy managers need enough goal threat for the price.
For Cote d'Ivoire, the answer is simple: move them out. Amad and Pepe delivered a useful knockout return, but there is no next fixture.
